Job Description

CAL Sports Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join our executive team as the Sports Administrator. This individual must display professionalism, a passion for youth sports development, and stellar customer service. To be successful in this position, an individual must be highly detail-oriented, have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to the needs of the customers, and focus on goals and implementing programs to take CAL Sports Academy to the next level.

Job Requirements

  • Responsible for development, administration, scheduling, and management of quality programs for youth sports across multiple locations.
  • Develop, maintain, and evaluate program quality, determine cost structure, and maintain budget.
  • Analyze participation trends and adjust programming to meet the trends and think forward knowing what programs should be developed.
  • Assist with developing and implementing marketing plans for each program.
  • Communicate with customers via phone call, e-mail, and in-person interactions.
  • Track attendance for classes.
  • Provide the community with programs in accordance with the CAL Sports Academy philosophy, mission, and brand.
  • Introduce new programs to the target audience while maintaining existing profitable programs.
  • Analyze participation trends and adjust programming to meet the trends and think forward knowing what programs should be developed.
  • Work with the Staffing Supervisor to ensure proper coaches are aligned with programs.
  • Address any issues with customer service.
  • Schedule programs and build registration forms.

Skills

  • Expertise in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of LeagueApp (registration system) or a similar facility scheduling, and registration system preferred.
  • Must possess strong customer relationship management.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of basic project management principles.
  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Self-motivated and directed

Qualifications

  • Staff must be certified or complete CPR/First Aid training
  • Staff must complete and maintain the three (3) clearances required to coach children. Current PA Child Abuse, Criminal Background, and FBI clearances are required. These must be updated according to policy.

Compensation will be based on experience.
