Congratulations, Jade!

Jade Wandall, a member of CAL Sports 14U Club Volleyball team, joined this season as a practice player and has exceeded all of our expectations on the court. Jade continues to showcase her dedication to the game. She started at CAL in 2022 beginning her volleyball journey with our development classes. Her passion for volleyball shined through amongst her peers, proving she was a clear candidate to take the next step on her journey to participate at the Club level. From the start of the season in December to our last tournament on April 28th, Jade is a positive teammate and incredibly coachable athlete. We were thrilled to be able to provide her the opportunity to transition from a practice player to a tournament player after she proved she was up for the challenge. She stepped up to compete at games, led as a consistent Ace scorer, and left it all on the court in each rally. Jade is always motivated to learn more about the game, to progress her skill execution, and to develop as a team player. Her development shined bright this year, awarding her our 14U Most Improved Player Award for the 2024 Club season. Beyond the court, Jade is a hardworking, intelligent, reliable young athlete who truly embodies the 5 Pillars of CAL Sports Academy – Commitment, Determination, Motivation, Strength, Teamwork. We are grateful to have witnessed such an encouraging representation of growth this season and can’t wait to see where Jade’s journey takes her next. Congratulations Jade!
