2021 Summer Camps are here! These are not your typiCAL Summer Camps either! CAL Sports Academy is offering a variety of sports and day camps for 2021. There are Full-Day, Half-Day, and 3-Day options available to fit all schedules! Full-Day camps run from 9am – 3pm and Half-Day camps are 9am – 12pm or 12pm – 3pm. We are offering Basketball, Volleyball, Multi-Sport, Soccer, Lacrosse, and Softball camps this summer! We are also bringing back our popular League Camps offered for both Volleyball and Basketball! CAL Sports Academy is also partnering with Dock Mennonite Academy and will be hosting 6 weeks’ worth of sports camps at their EC – 8 Campus! Basketball

Basketball Summer Camps

Our co-ed camp is a fun-filled, action packed experience for youth basketball players. Players will learn the fundamentals of basketball such as passing, dribbling, and shooting. Our CAL coaches will work to improve athletes’ overall skill level as well as help boost their confidence both on and off the court. Athletes will be placed in small groups based on their ability level. They will be challenged by their peers and will receive the attention they deserve from each coach. This camp is great for beginner and intermediate level players and is an experience you will not want to miss!

Coach Core's Elite Basketball Camp

Coach Corey’s Afternoon Basketball Training Clinics

Coach Corey has designed these afternoon workouts for players that are looking to take their game to a higher level of play! These 2-hour training clinics will run for 1 week at a time and have a different focus each week! As players progress through the days of training, their skills will become stronger allowing them to progress to the next week of training. These clinics are perfect for athletes looking to join Middle School and AAU travel teams at CAL Sports Academy! Clinics run from 3 – 5 pm, Monday through Thursday all Summer long!

This camp is a week-long Basketball League filled with evaluations, scrimmages, games, instruction, competition, tournaments, and giveaways. Athletes will be evaluated on Monday and placed on teams that they will play with throughout the week. They will work on skill development, play scrimmages, practice shooting, and participate in friendly competitions. Athletes will play tournament style games Tuesday-Thursday along with practicing skill development. Friday will conclude the league camp with Championship games.

These 2-hour Basketball Skill Sessions are for athletes who are committed and determined to improve their playing abilities! Athletes must understand that this is an intense program where results are achieved. Individuals must be committed and willing to work hard under pressure. We encourage serious athletes to train in both performance training and their chosen sport to maximize results. Strength and Agility Training can help athletes protect against injuries and positively impact sports specific performance by improving strength, power and speed. In addition, players will be placed into small groups based on their skill level to give every youth basketball player the attention they deserve. Perfect for prospective college athletes too!

Next Level Basketball

Coach Corey’s “Next Level” Basketball Summer Camp

 

Coach Corey’s Next Level Basketball Camp is for advanced athletes. Coach Corey demands one hundred percent effort from players in return for the best training designed for playing at the highest level. Athletes will experience individual drills, offensive and defensive fundamentals such as passing, dribbling, rebounding, and shooting, and with competitive play in a high-intensity workout. Athletes will have the opportunity to review film of camp – seeing themselves in action will allow for a better understanding of corrections in form and playing style. They will practice intensive drills and skill development, both as individuals and as members of a team. Following lunch, athletes will finish their day with competitive games designed to push them to their limits and help cement the concepts they have learned throughout the day. Our goal is for athletes to have a great camp experience and enhance their basketball skills. These camps are designed for both boys and girls in 4th – 8th Grade that want to take their game to the next level!

Come and learn the fundamentals of volleyball: passing, setting, hitting and serving! As the days progress, coaches will incorporate these skills through serve receive, offensive and defensive drills, and gameplay. By the end of the week, players will have an enhanced knowledge of how to pass, set, hit and serve. Players will also gain a foundation on the rules of the game and positions on the court. This co-ed camp is great for beginner to intermediate level players.

Elite Volleyball Summer Camp

Elite Morning Volleyball Training

This Volleyball Skills camp is for athletes who are committed and determined to improve their fitness level! Athletes must understand that this is an intense program where results are achieved. Individuals must be committed and willing to work hard under pressure. To become an all-around volleyball player, we encourage out athletes to train in both physical fitness and the technical skills associate with volleyball. By partnering performance training with sports training, players will go from average athletes to elite athletes. Perfect for prospective college athletes too!

Soccer

Soccer Summer Camp

 

This program focuses on learning the fundamental soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive environment in which your child will be excited to learn. The program will gradually progress from dribbling to game type scenarios throughout the week. Your child will get a “KICK” out of this camp!

Lacrosse

Lacrosse Summer Camp

 

This program will teach younger players interested in the sport of lacrosse the basic skills to the game: catching, throwing, picking up ground balls, and learning how to properly use their sticks. We will also demonstrate the proper ways to play defense, while also stressing the importance of leadership and being a good sport. This is a clinic we want our young players to enjoy and have a memorable and positive experience with others. With the help from the coaches, you are sure to develop a newfound confidence and love for the sport of lacrosse! Players will need to bring their own helmets and sticks!

Softball

This program focuses on learning the fundamental softball skills in a fun, non-competitive environment in which your child will be excited to learn. Players will learn and strengthen their skills in softball including hitting, fielding, throwing and pitching!

Multi-Sport Summer Camps

Multi-Sport Summer Camps

 

This co-ed camp is for athletes who are active and would like to try a variety of sports. Multi-Sports includes dodge ball, baseball, flag football, soccer, and basketball. Additional sports may be added based on our participants selections. Our fun and energetic program will help players learn about each sport. Participants are grouped by skill and age to maximize the opportunity to develop players’ skills.

Our Sports Explorers Pre-school Program teaches children the fundamentals of motor skills. Children will build confidence, learn the value of teamwork and sportsmanship while exploring their athletic abilities. This is a great opportunity for children to learn a variety of sports to help determine which sport they love best!

Our girls only camps are designed to focus on the needs and goals of our female athletes. We offer both Basketball and Volleyball Girls Only Summer Camps and Programs to help girls grow! Hang with your friends, teammates and other female athletes in training, skill drills and games to become the best you can be while striving to make an impact in the world of sports!
