CAL Sports Academy has been an organization for more than 11 years now, and we’ve had the honor of training many young athletes who have grown into successful young adults. We’d like to share with you the recent accomplishments of 2 former CAL students who are moving on to great things.
Lindsay Martin has been around our organization since CAL Sports started at the Lansdale YMCA many years ago. We’ve watched her grow into a smart and outstanding young lady! Lindsay has always volunteered her time at CAL helping the youth in our community, returning to help as a member of our staff family when she was home from school. She graduated from the Souderton Area High School and went on to Penn State University – Schreyer Honors College graduating with a BS in Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences, Lindsay will continue her studies in the fall at University Of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine with intention of becoming a wildlife/ Zoo Veterinarian. Lindsay will be back for the summer months coaching in the volleyball department and helping out in other areas at CAL. Congratulations to Lindsay!
Aaron Dean Jr. has been a fixture here at CAL Sports also since the YMCA days, taking clinics, playing in basketball leagues and on the travel basketball AAU teams. Aaron Jr. has also volunteered his time with CAL in-house leagues, being a Jr. Ref and helping at CAL whenever needed. Watching him grow into an outstanding young man has been a pleasure for us! He graduated from North Penn High School and went on to Indiana University of Pennsylvania – E Cook Honors College and the Eberly College of Business Honors program to complete his degree in Supply Chain & Human Resource Management. Aaron will continue his studies in the fall undecided at this time to complete his masters in Sports Management. Great job Aaron!
We are very proud of their accomplishments and proud to say they continued to follow the five pillars Commitment, Determination, Motivation, Teamwork & Strength! We look forward to much more student-athlete following their dreams, graduating from college, and starting their lives and careers! We encourage all former CAL young athletes to keep in touch and informing us of your accomplishments. We’re privileged to have been a part of your lives.
