Cordell Lord was a graduate of North Penn High School who was also a student athlete. As a current student at Immaculata University, he understands the work it takes to focus on both academics and team sports. To that end, Cordell continues to support his High School Alma Mater and created a scholarship that would be awarded yearly. The scholarship represents a student who has showed the 5 Pillars of CAL Sports Academy: Commitment, Determination, Motivation, Strength & Teamwork!
This scholarship is given to a North Penn senior who attended NPHS for three or more years who is a student athlete in Basketball or Track & field and will continue their studies in an accredited institution of higher education. After reviewing many young players applications, Brendan O’Toole was chosen to receive the Cordell Lord Alumni Athlete Award on behalf Cal Sports Academy.
Brendan O’Toole will be attending Bucknell University College of the Arts and Sciences in the field of Economics. While at NPHS, he participated in Varsity Cross County as well as Varsity Indoor & Outdoor track while managing to excel in his studies! These qualities sent Brendan to the top of the list as the recipient of the Cordell Lord Scholarship.
Congratulations to Brendan O’Toole with his achievements at the high school level! We wish him continued success at the college level and beyond.
