Our Winter In-House Volleyball League is a combination of team practices and competitive gameplay! This is a great league for intermediate-advanced athletes who have volleyball experience but are looking to develop their knowledge of the game through competitive play.
Dates and Time: Saturdays, between 10-2 pm
Location: TBD (Lansdale or Souderton Location)
- Week 1 Skills Evaluation & Scrimmages
- Week 2-4 Team Practices & Regular Season Games
- Week 5-7 Regular Season Games
- Week 8 Playoffs
- Week 9 Championship & All-Star Game
The Skills Evaluation on Week 1 will be used to assess the athletes’ knowledge and execution of various game fundamentals and concepts, resulting in team placement. Evaluations are Saturday, January 7th, 10-12 PM)!
REQUIRED – All athletes must attend Week 1’s evaluation session in order to participate in the League. Failure to attend will result in your athlete’s removal from the league. If you know your athlete is unable to attend due to unnegotiable circumstances, you must notify email@example.com ASAP and coordinate a make-up evaluation which will be required to take place BEFORE JANUARY 7TH!
Each week, athletes will participate in a 30-minute team practice immediately before their league game. All regular season games will take place on Saturdays between 10-2 PM. Each game will include a 2-sets to 25 and 1-set to 15 in the event of a tiebreaker or if time allows. All final schedules will be determined based on the total number of registrations/teams participating in this session.

Athletes will receive a team shirt that they will be required to wear each week! Failure to wear your team shirt will result in a technical foul awarded to the opposing team. Be sure to enter the correct shirt size on your athlete’s registration. If your shirt is lost, damaged, or the wrong size is ordered, the cost is $25 to order a replacement. Athletes are permitted to wear any color short/pant and must be wearing sneakers.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – In order to help the League run smoothly and allow CAL Coaches to give their undivided attention to the athletes during games, we are asking for parent volunteers to assist with scorekeeping each week. If you are interested in assisting, be sure to answer YES on your registration form field under Available to Volunteer or, email firstname.lastname@example.org!
All payments made to CAL Sports Academy are non-refundable. CAL Sports Academy reserves the right to cancel a program due to insufficient registrations and will issue a full refund in the form of account credit. There are no make-ups for missed programs unless due to weather related closings. If you cannot attend the make-up date, a full refund in the form of account credit will be issued. Program refers to any activity CAL Sports Academy provides.
CAL Sports Academy cannot offer refunds for participating in a sports program such as a clinic, class, camp, or team because the money collected in registration fees goes directly towards paying coaches for their time, gym space, insurance, equipment, and other fixed costs. All of which are expenses that cannot be recouped after a registrant has participated in a program or if a registrant cancels within a week of the program start date.
