7-9th Grade In-House Basketball League

Sharpen your skills and build confidence

Our In-House 7th–9th Grade League is designed for intermediate to advanced athletes who have prior basketball experience and are eager to deepen their understanding of the game through competitive play.

This league is a great opportunity for athletes to grow their skills, compete at a high level, and deepen their basketball IQ in a structured and supportive environment.

This 9-week program includes:

Week 1: Skills Evaluation — Athletes will be assessed on their understanding and execution of key game fundamentals and concepts to assist with balanced team placement.
Week 2: Team Practice — Teams will begin training together and building chemistry.
Weeks 3–7: Regular Season Games — Players will continue to develop individual and team skills through consistent competitive gameplay.
Weeks 8–9: Playoffs and Championship Games — The season culminates with an exciting playoff series and championship matchups.

Team Shirts

Athletes will receive a team shirt that they will be required to wear each week! Failure to wear your team shirt will result in a technical foul awarded to the opposing team. Be sure to enter the correct shirt size on your athlete’s registration. If your shirt is lost, damaged, or the wrong size is ordered, the cost is $35 to order a replacement. Athletes are permitted to wear any color short/pant and must be wearing sneakers.

Volunteers

In order to help the League run smoothly and allow CAL Coaches to give their undivided attention to the athletes during games, we are asking for parent volunteers to assist with scorekeeping each week. If you are interested in assisting, be sure to answer YES on your registration form field under Available to Volunteer or, email office@calsportsacademy.com!

SUMMER SEASON

WAITLIST REGISTRATION OPEN

SECURE YOUR SPOT TODAY – Join the waitlist for our Summer Basketball League! All registrations will be waitlisted until schedule information is finalized on June 1st.

Dates: July 7th through September 8th. All Practices and Games will be Monday or Wednesday Evenings (final schedule determined by June 1st). Evaluation schedule TBA.

REQUIRED – All athletes must attend Week 1’s evaluation session in order to participate in the League. Failure to attend will result in your athlete’s removal from the league. If you know your athlete is unable to attend due to circumstances, you must notify office@calsportsacademy.com ASAP and coordinate a make-up evaluation which will be required to take place BEFORE season eval date!
