“Time + Effort = Results. My friends, don’t look for the easiest way out, there aren’t any. Stop waiting for tomorrow, tomorrow never comes, it’s today that counts, this very moment.  The time you put into anything in your life with effort is your results.”

This was just one of the lasting messages CAL Sports Academy Owner Corey Lord left with the students at Christopher Dock Mennonite High School in Lansdale, Pa.

Coach Corey was invited to speak by Joan Grega, Learning Support Instructor at Christopher Dock. Grega, who along with Corey is an alum of Gwynedd Mercy University, learned of Coach Corey by reading a recent story on his life’s journey in their alumni magazine.

Grega was inspired by Coach Corey and CAL Sports Academy’s passion in helping young athletes discover their Strength Through Sports.

In front of a packed auditorium, Coach Corey shared his story of coming to the United States from Barbados, record-setting athletic career, 20-years on Wall Street and the path that led him to founding CAL Sports Academy.

When Coach Corey isn’t in the gym, he feels most at home encouraging others to follow their dreams. To learn more about Corey A. Lord and Cal Sports Academy’s background check out Corey’s Bio Page. Interested in having Coach Corey speak at your organization? Contact CAL Sports Academy here.
