Volleyball-201: Developing the Complete Volleyball Player – SESSION 5

Skill Application Through Teamwork and Game Introduction

Structured for intermediate-level co-ed participants, this course will further reinforce the core principles of volleyball, while emphasizing the application of each skill within the game context. Through the incorporation of mini-games and drills, coaches will emphasize the importance of the pass, set, and hit system, spanning from offense to defense. Players will acquire the skills to proficiently pass, set, hit, and serve, alongside learning the essential transition from offensive to defensive play. Additionally, coaches will introduce the concepts of serve receive and base defense, along with blocking techniques in the front row.

What to Bring:
All necessary equipment is provided. Bring a water bottle (labeled with your name) and wear sneakers.

Important Notes:

  • Almost every activity has a minimum number of registrants needed to cover the expenses or to make it enjoyable for everyone (think sports games and scrimmages). Classes may be subject to cancellation if there is insufficient enrollment. If you see an activity you like, don’t hesitate to sign up today!
  • All registrations are on a first-come; first-served basis.

Fees (8 weeks):

Early Bird: $288 through April 6
Regular: $314 from April 7 – April 26th
Late: $340 starting April 27th
