All final schedules will be determined based on the total number of registrations/teams participating in this session.
Team Shirts
Athletes will receive a team shirt that they will be required to wear each week! Failure to wear your team shirt will result in the inability to participate in the first set of your scheduled game. League Team Placement & Friend Requests Policy
At CAL Sports Academy, our goal is to provide a positive, competitive, and development-focused league experience for every athlete. Creating balanced teams is a key part of that mission.
Friend Requests for New Players
For athletes who are new to a CAL Sports Academy league, we understand that playing with a friend can help them feel more comfortable as they get started. For this reason, friend requests may be considered for first-time league participants when possible.
Returning Players and Ongoing Development
As athletes become more familiar with our league environment, team placement will place a stronger emphasis on:
- Balanced teams
- Skill development
- Competing alongside new teammates
- Learning to adapt and grow within a team setting
Returning players should expect that friend requests may be limited or not honored as we work to create the best overall experience for all participants.
Important Notes
- Friend requests are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case by case basis.
- Multiple player requests, carpool based requests, or repeated requests across sessions may not be accommodated.
- Team placement decisions are final once teams are formed and uniforms are ordered.
Our leagues are designed to help athletes grow not only in skill, but also in confidence, teamwork, and adaptability. We appreciate families partnering with us to support that mission.
