Girls Only Advanced In-House Volleyball League

Our In-House Advanced Volleyball League is a combination of team practices and competitive gameplay! This is a great league for advanced athletes who have competitive volleyball experience and are looking for gameplay practice ahead of their school or Club seasons. View League Rules

Schedule

Athletes will participate in a 9-week session that will consist of:

Week 1 Skills Evaluation & Scrimmages
Week 2 Practices
Week 3-7 Regular Games
Week 8 Playoffs
Week 9 Championship

Skills Evaluation Week 1 will be used to assess the athletes’ knowledge and execution of various game fundamentals and concepts, resulting in team placement.

Each game will include a 2-sets to 25 and 1-set to 15 in the event of a tiebreaker or if time allows. All final schedules will be determined based on the total number of registrations/teams participating in this session.

Team Shirts

Athletes will receive a team shirt that they will be required to wear each week! Failure to wear your team shirt will result in a technical foul awarded to the opposing team. Be sure to enter the correct shirt size on your athlete’s registration. If your shirt is lost, damaged, or the wrong size is ordered, the cost is $35 to order a replacement. Athletes are permitted to wear any color shorts/pants and must be wearing sneakers.

Volunteers

In order to help the League run smoothly and allow CAL Coaches to give their undivided attention to the athletes during games, we are asking for parent volunteers to assist with scorekeeping each week. If you are interested in assisting, be sure to answer YES on your registration form field under Available to Volunteer or, email office@calsportsacademy.com!

SPRING SEASON

REGISTRATION CLOSED

Dates:
Saturdays, April 13 – June 15
Evaluations are Saturday, April 13th from 12:30-2 PM

REQUIRED – All athletes must attend Week 1’s evaluation session in order to participate in the League. Failure to attend will result in your athlete’s removal from the league. If you know your athlete is unable to attend due to circumstances, you must notify office@calsportsacademy.com ASAP and coordinate a make-up evaluation which will be required to take place BEFORE season Eval date!

Summer Season dates and times are still being finalized. Secure your spot today by joining our waitlist! Official registration opens on May 7th. If your athlete is new to CAL Sports Academy, they will be asked to participate in an evaluation prior to being moved to a reserved registration spot. This evaluation will allow us to ensure that the Advanced League is the correct level for your player based on their skill execution and game experience.
